Advice The Spots — 13 May 2013

With summer approaching, we assume you’d like to go shirtless without shame should the occasion call for it, so we’re bringing you fitness tips by a pro for the next few months. David Levy of Fulcrum Fitness (who happens to be offering an affordable Spring Body Challenge)  is going to kick things off with some tips on how to set yourself up for success right at the outset of your journey:

  1. Set your intention, make a decision and commit. Results differ drastically when you say “I will” versus “I might.”
  2. Set yourself up for success: Don’t try the kitchen sink all at once. For example, start with 3 days a week for a month instead of 5.
  3. Keep yourself accountable by working out in a group setting and meeting people who will miss you, or by getting a trainer.
